RT60 Comparison Chart

Grouped bar chart comparing estimated untreated RT60 values against achieved post-treatment values across six octave bands.

NC Curve Overlay

Comparison of estimated pre-treatment noise floor against achieved NC targets. The shaded region represents the improvement zone.

What Was Added

Detailed breakdown of acoustic treatments applied to each surface, with before/after mini-cards for each element.

Treatment Impact Summary

Key metrics demonstrating the effectiveness of the acoustic treatment program for the selected room.

Before & After Room View

Drag the slider to compare the untreated room (hard reflective surfaces) with the treated room (absorption, diffusion, bass traps).

BEFORE AFTER
BARE CONCRETE / BLOCK WALLS Flutter echo, standing waves, excessive reverberation
TREATED: ABSORPTION + DIFFUSION + BASS TRAPS Controlled reverberation, no flutter echo, calibrated response

On-Site Measurement

Placeholder for real-world acoustic measurement data to validate the design predictions.

🎤

[ON-SITE: Record acoustic measurement before and after treatment]

Expected measurement methodology and required equipment:

  • Calibrated SPL meter (Type 1 or Type 2, IEC 61672)
  • Pink noise generator (broadband, 20 Hz – 20 kHz)
  • Measurement microphone (omnidirectional, flat response)
  • RT60 measurement software (REW / SMAART / Dirac)
  • 3 measurement positions per room (ISO 3382-2)
  • HVAC system ON during NC measurements
  • All doors closed, normal operating conditions
  • Balloon pop or starter pistol for impulse response
